This smoothie is really easy to make if you have very sweet ripe mango. If not, you will have to add 1/2 a banana to make it sweet.
I almost always add lemon and ginger to my green smoothies, to help with digestion, however you can omit. I also felt like adding nut butter to this simple smoothie, as I was craving nuts this morning, but you can omit to keep it simple.
Kale, spinach and mango green smoothie
- 2 large kale leaves
- 1 cup spinach
- 1.5/ – 2 cups ripe mangoes or two small fresh mangoes
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 inch piece ginger
- 1 tbsp nut butter
- 1 cup water
- Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
