This recipe is simple yet delicious. I love arugula (also know as rocket), for its fresh, tart, bitter, and peppery flavor. I’d have to say arugula is my most favorite of all greens.
However I generally prefer eating it in a salad or in my sandwiches.
I tried blending with it today, and wow did I ever enjoy this smoothie, it had a nice spring kick to it👌🏽
Pear and Arugula smoothie 🍐+ 🍃
- 1 heaped cup baby arugula
- 1 ripe pear
- 1/2 a lemon
- 1/4 cup avocado
- 1/2 inch piece of ginger
- 1/2 cup water
- Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Enjoy!
