This is such a delicious decadent smoothie. I would classify this as dessert π
Vanilla coconut green smoothie
Ingredients
Vanilla coconut layer:
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup light coconut milk
- 1 tbsp chia seeds optional
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Mint and Spinach layer:
- 1 & 1/2 cups baby spinach
- 1 frozen banana
- 10-15 fresh mint leaves optional
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Place the Vanilla Coconut Layer ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy, pour into your glass and keep aside.
- Place the Mint and Spinach layer ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Pour this smoothie over the coconut layer and enjoy!
Notes
You donβt have to add 1/4 cup water in the green smoothie, I wanted my green smoothie thinner than the vanilla coconut layer, so I added water.
Top with mint leaves.
I make my own coconut milk, however, you can buy light tinned coconut milk.
